Horticulture
Horticulture concern the production, utilization and improvement of fruits,
vegetables, ornamental plants, spices and plantation crops including medicinal and
aromatic plants.
To make this subject useful to the students cultural practices on all crops have
been dealt with in detail. General horticulture, post-harvest management, disease and
pest management have been dealt with separately which obviously enhances utility
of the course.
